A lot of people hitting the golf course for the first time will be doing just that, hitting the golf course and taking a nice chunk of lush grass instead of a perfectly aimed ball. The perfect golf swing is something that yes you can be taught, but a lot in the actual mechanics has to do with natural stance and being relaxed.
One of the perfect golf swing tips that anybody can get is to try out your natural ability on a driving range. Doing this is a great way to perfect your initial technique. You can probably pick up as many magazines as you want and still slice the golf ball over into the trees, not great if you are trying to seriously compete.
You are simply not going to master the perfect golf swing by watching Angel Cabrera in action, even though he might have one of those perfect golf swings you are after.
Every Pro will tell you it is as much to do with your own body, natural balance and relaxing, the rest will come in its own time as you begin to master your own technique. And that is what the perfect golf swing is really all about, working out your own technique.
We are not talking going out and finding the best Country Club to be a member of. You are going to have to find a set of golf clubs that you are able to master, feel comfortable using and be able to grip correctly.
One great piece of advice when selecting a set of golf clubs is to listen to the store owner. If you can find a golf store with its own range then that is fantastic, as you will be able to gauge your accuracy and handling at the same time before purchasing the clubs.
The perfect golf swing is about as much to do with your clubs as your own technique, without the right length and weight then you are going to find you’re your swing and accuracy affected.
Gauging the right stance for your body to find its rhythm and motion is where you will need to start. That is whether you are driving with a Wood selection or a 9 Iron. Each club you select is going to need a different swing, and so is the terrain rough, fairway or drive.
You will find that at first the perfect golf swings will elude you, but not to worry as you are not going to be Championship material just yet. You can find the perfect line, length and stroke with a simple process of trial and error. Trial and error is one of the perfect golf swing tips that most professionals started with.
You may get lucky and be a natural, finding that you have an arsenal of perfect golf swings, but if not there are a few of ways to learn your back swing, follow through, down swing and even your putting once you get to the flag. That is by either selecting a great golf partner that is not going to imply that you are the worst golfer he has ever seen, but help you with your technique. Or you can try working on basic swing techniques in your own time, and over the course of a few weeks. Maybe even grab a couple of lessons from the regulars in the 19th hole.
Here is one person that should be at every 19th Hole, Ben Hogan:
• Down Swing and Follow Through – These should essentially be as natural and flowing as possible. Almost certainly working on relaxing during the stroke will help with distance and accuracy.
• Back Swing – You do what it says on the tin in many respects. A good comfortable stance, relax, swing the golf club round to your back and bring your body round as the club meets the ball.
Remember that your golfing ability will be affected if you start to get frustrated with yourself, the need for total concentration; being relaxed and composed with help you gauge the perfect golf swing for yourself.
Time is your friend; there is absolutely no pressure to be a star performer right from the tee. There is only one way to improve, and that is to be a rotten golf player at the beginning.
